Hatenboer-Water Introduces New Reverse Osmosis Series

Thetys image press release

Hatenboer-Water introduces Tethys: a new range of Reverse Osmosis (RO) water generators. Responding to increasing demands from their global client base, the Dutch water treatment specialist developed a compact yet highly efficient RO unit for vessels requiring up to 6m3 of fresh water per day.

It is officially introduced and displayed this week during the Offshore Wind Energy trade show in London.

Turning seawater into safe drinking water

The RO unit desalinates seawater and offers a safe and durable alternative to standard fresh water bunker facilities, which are susceptible to bacterial contamination.

Due to its robust and compact format, Tethys provides the perfect solution for unmanned platforms, short sea vessels, fishery ships, patrol boats, tugs, barges and so on. It is set up modularly, with different filtration options and a plug and play frame which is easily installed and commissioned.

Standard series

In addition to its globally renowned tailored water solutions, Hatenboer-Water now stocks three different standard series of water generators suited for capacity demands ranging from 3m3 up to 100m3. Tethys completes these standard systems, which can be supplied at competitive prices and delivery times.

Hatenboer-Water has a long history in the field of water. For over one hundred years, the privately owned organisation is an internationally renowned full service player in the water treatment market. Hatenboer-Water designs, constructs and supplies fresh water modules, comprising all relevant components.
